Why Choose BrushServo
Built for serious steering loads
The BLS-HV70MG is a high torque servo designed for RC drivers who have outgrown weak stock steering. With up to 70kg-cm torque at 8.4V, it gives heavy 1/8 buggies, truggies, crawlers and monster trucks the authority they need, while also suiting upgraded 1/10 platforms running larger tyres, higher grip and more demanding steering geometry. Instead of chasing specs for the sake of it, this servo translates its power into more confident turn-in, stronger hold under load and reduced steering fade when the terrain fights back.
Brushless speed, digital precision
Compared with a standard digital servo motor, the brushless platform delivers faster response, improved efficiency and more stable centring over time. That means cleaner steering corrections on technical lines, a more planted feel in corners and less wasted energy on high voltage systems. The digital control circuit supports precise movement across a wide operating range, making this an excellent rc car steering servo for racers, bashers and crawlers who want a premium step up from budget 70kg alternatives and lower-tier options from brands such as AGFRC or JX Servo.
Ready for UK mud, rain and off-road use
British RC conditions are rarely kind to electronics, so the BLS-HV70MG is engineered with an IP67-rated waterproof rc servo housing and all-metal gear transmission. Whether you are crawling over wet roots, racing on a damp astro track or bashing through muddy grass, it is built to keep delivering dependable steering performance. The metal gear servo construction also helps handle repeated shock loads from heavy wheels, hard landings and aggressive steering inputs.
Flexible fitment for 1/8 and 1/10 platforms
Running from 4.8V to 8.4V, this high voltage servo works with a broad range of receivers, BECs and modern RC electronics. The 25T output spline suits many common aftermarket servo horns, while the standard size case format makes installation straightforward in a wide range of 1/8 rc servo and 1/10 rc servo applications. If you want a brushless rc servo motor UK buyers can trust for power, durability and real-world steering gains, the BLS-HV70MG is a serious upgrade.

Customer Reviews
Fitted this to my 1/8 truggy after the stock servo kept struggling in ruts. The difference is massive. It has proper holding power on 8.4V and the centring is much more consistent than the JX unit I was running before.
Bought it for a crawler build and the torque is brilliant when the wheels are wedged on rock and wet roots. The waterproof sealing was a big reason I chose it, and it has handled muddy West Yorkshire trails without a problem.
This brushless servo feels much smoother than the cheaper digital servo motor it replaced. Turn-in on my 1/8 buggy is cleaner and it holds a line better on damp dirt. Packaging and setup guidance were spot on too.
Loads of power for my 1/10 monster truck and definitely not a generic budget servo. Only reason it is not 5 stars is that you do need to make sure your BEC is up to the job, otherwise you are not getting the best from it.
I was comparing this against AGFRC and a couple of no-name 70kg listings. This one won me over because the spec sheet actually made sense and the 25T spline matched my alloy horn. Proper premium feel and very strong steering authority.
Excellent metal gear servo for a heavy crawler. It is quick, strong and much more precise than my old setup. Minor note: the servo is powerful enough that you will want to spend time setting endpoints carefully.
Used on a 1/10 short course truck with oversized tyres and the improvement was immediate. Better self-centring, less steering fade and no drama after a wet run in the park. For the performance, I think it is good value.
