70kg Waterproof Steering Upgrade

High torque brushless control for heavy 1/8 and upgraded 1/10 RC cars in wet, muddy conditions

How to Use

How to use
  1. Confirm your vehicle has space for a standard size servo and check that a 25T servo horn is compatible with your steering setup.
  2. Mount the servo securely using the supplied grommets and hardware, ensuring no chassis flex or binding in the steering linkages.
  3. Connect the servo lead to the steering channel on your receiver and verify your BEC or power system is suitable for 4.8V to 8.4V operation.
  4. Power on the transmitter and receiver, centre the servo electronically, then fit the servo horn so your steering trim starts from neutral.
  5. Set steering endpoints gradually to avoid forcing the servo against mechanical stops, especially if using the full 180 degree control angle range.
  6. Test steering movement off the ground first, then fine-tune EPA, dual rate and steering geometry before driving.
  7. After wet or muddy runs, wipe the casing and linkage area clean and inspect the horn screw and mounting hardware regularly.

What Our Customers Say

Fitted this to my 1/8 truggy after the stock servo kept struggling in ruts. The difference is massive. It has proper holding power on 8.4V and the centring is much more consistent than the JX unit I was running before.

Bought it for a crawler build and the torque is brilliant when the wheels are wedged on rock and wet roots. The waterproof sealing was a big reason I chose it, and it has handled muddy West Yorkshire trails without a problem.

Aisha Rahman, Bradford

This brushless servo feels much smoother than the cheaper digital servo motor it replaced. Turn-in on my 1/8 buggy is cleaner and it holds a line better on damp dirt. Packaging and setup guidance were spot on too.

Loads of power for my 1/10 monster truck and definitely not a generic budget servo. Only reason it is not 5 stars is that you do need to make sure your BEC is up to the job, otherwise you are not getting the best from it.

I was comparing this against AGFRC and a couple of no-name 70kg listings. This one won me over because the spec sheet actually made sense and the 25T spline matched my alloy horn. Proper premium feel and very strong steering authority.

Excellent metal gear servo for a heavy crawler. It is quick, strong and much more precise than my old setup. Minor note: the servo is powerful enough that you will want to spend time setting endpoints carefully.

Rhys Pritchard, Newport

At BrushServo, we focus on one thing: helping UK RC drivers unlock sharper, stronger and more reliable steering. Too many standard servos feel vague under load, struggle with larger tyres or lose confidence in wet conditions. Our approach is simple: offer premium brushless, high voltage steering upgrades that deliver genuine control where it matters most.

Built for demanding 1:8 and 1:10 applications, our servo range is aimed at enthusiasts who understand the difference a proper steering setup can make. Whether you run a buggy, truggy, crawler, monster truck or upgraded short course build, BrushServo products are selected for high torque output, metal gear durability and consistent centring under repeated hard use.

We also know what UK conditions are really like. Muddy tracks, damp grass, rainy car parks and winter bashing sessions all put electronics under pressure, so we prioritise waterproof construction and dependable performance across 6V, 7.4V and 8.4V systems. The result is a servo upgrade that feels more precise on the bench and more confidence-inspiring on the ground.

As a UK-facing direct-to-consumer brand, we combine enthusiast-grade product standards with clear fitment guidance, fast dispatch and helpful support. BrushServo is for drivers who want more than a generic 70kg claim - they want steering authority, durability and trust in every turn.
